T.J. Warren, Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns have gone all-in on the small-ball lineups, but it looks to be too early on for this movement to work as they currently have the 2nd worst record in the league.

The Suns traded Trevor Ariza to the Washington Wizards for Austin Rivers and Kelly Oubre Jr. only a few weeks ago (bought out Rivers), and they essentially told the basketball community that you can never have too many wings.

Oubre Jr. has been playing phenomenally since the trade and T.J. Warren may become an asset to help build more of a complete lineup around Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton. Phoenix obviously needs a point guard and Goran Dragic is most likely the player to move in this deal for Warren, who is one of the best players off the bench in the league.

Warren would allow the Heat to play more small-ball lineups, as he is a much better version of James Johnson. He would also complete the set of young players Miami has with Richardson, Winslow, and Adebayo.

If Pat Riley could get a deal done for Warren, the Heat could even fight for a home playoff spot, as Warren would immediately fill the spot for an offensive sparkplug that Miami has needed for months now.

Obviously, losing a player like Dragic would be tragic for the point guard position moving forward, but Winslow has been very promising as of late, so this deal could be perfect.
