Romeo Langford (Freshman)-Indiana-Guard
Langford is a 6’6″ freshman shooting guard out of the University of Indiana that we have not really seen at full potential due to a torn ligament in his hand last season. Despite the injury, he led the Hoosiers with his averages of 16.5 points and 5.4 rebounds. The Heat are known to have a great player development team and with a 6’11” wingspan, they could turn Langford into a big wing with versatile scoring abilities.

Kenneth’s Take– Romeo Langford has all the tools to be an NBA All-Star one day if it all comes together. At 6’6″, he has the ideal size for a prototypical NBA 2-guard. While his shooting from distance at Indiana left something to be desired, shooting 27.2 percent on almost four attempts per game, his total field goal percentage of 44.8 showed that he could get it done even when his long-range shot wasn’t falling.

Another thing you like about Langford is his perceived toughness and selflessness. While projected to be a lottery pick before ever entering college, Langford still played through injury, an injury that imaginably effected his game quite a bit due to it being his hand. If Langford is around when the Miami Heat select at 13, he should be an option, he offers scoring and an ideal size/length combination that the Heat could mold into something special.
