Summary

All-in-all, NBA 2K20 doesn’t appear to be too high on the Miami Heat’s chances next season. A primary concern is injuries, which are a recurring issue in every single season primarily for Jimmy Butler and Goran Dragic.

Also worth noting, Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler and Goran Dragic received constant and aggressive trade attention. In the real world, Dragic and his expiring contract is likely the only player on this list the Heat would consider moving without some kind of preposterous offer.

Record: 32.4 wins

On average, the Heat won 32.4 games and lose 49.6. They post an average net rating of -5.8, which is slightly worse than the -5.7 of last season’s 29-53 Atlanta Hawks.

They went to the playoffs twice, matching up against the Brooklyn Nets (who had Kevin Durant by that point in both instances) and losing all eight games by an average of 22.3 points.

Around the league:

The Los Angeles Lakers nearly pulled off a clean sweep of championships, beating the Philadelphia 76ers for the title in each of the first four simulations. Only a late win from the Houston Rockets prevented the Lakers from running the table.

LeBron James wins two MVPs, followed by James Harden, Steph Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo with one each. Kawhi Leonard won every DPOY, and Zion Williamson won three ROTY awards compared to Ja Morant’s two.

The only hardware for the Miami Heat is a single All-Rookie Second Team nod for Tyler Herro.

Notable Heat performances:

Jimmy Butler: 65.2 games, 18.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.9 steals per game, average shooting splits of .479/.340/.842.

Goran Dragic: 68.4 games, 17.6 points, 4.8 assists per game, average shooting splits of .436/.319/.791.

Dion Waiters: 78.6 games, 15.9 points, 2.9 assists per game, average shooting splits of .438/.356/.491.

Justise Winslow: 73 games, 32.8 starts, 11.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists per game, average shooting splits of .471/.383/.663.

Tyler Herro: 59.4 games, 10.7 points per game, average shooting splits of .432/.389/.936.
