VIII. Goran Dragic and James Johnson

Goran Dragic was almost traded away fro the Miami Heat this offseason, and on several occasions. He’s still a member of the team though and we are glad to have him.

Back to full health it seems, Goran Dragic could be a player that fills one of a myriad of roles for this Heat team. He could be the starting point guard, a combo guard in the starting unit, the sixth man, or any number of other roles that I am sure he could succeed in.

James Johnson appeared to be headed for his best training camp ever with the Miami Heat, but then he was sent home. Johnson was “banished” from training camp for what has been described as “conditioning” issues.

This is an area where we know that the Miami Heat will not budge. In any event, here are the offseason and season lead-up happenings on Goran Dragic and James Johnson.
