He and The “Heat Culture” are a perfect match

The Miami Heat are known for their culture. For the Heat, the culture is one where hard work comes before everything. Determination, grittiness, and the ability to simply will yourself over or through something are a huge part of the foundation that the culture is built on.

Specifically, here is a piece that details exactly what we think Heat Culture is. Something else that we know about this culture is that it fits Jimmy Butler like a glove, or he fits it.

We understand, based on his career thus far and some of the antics he has been accused of being guilty of, that Jimmy Butler is a regimented and mission-driven kind of guy and player. Looking back on his now-infamous Minnesota tirade, it is said to be the result of the fact that he felt as though he was the only guy that worked hard.

In Miami, working hard is not only something that is built into the fabric of the team and organization, but it is almost like a skill that this team and its players rely on. If their shots aren’t falling or if the schemes/plays aren’t working on a given night, the Miami Heat can rely on the fact that they are willing to outwork any other team to help them get wins. This is the second reason that Jimmy Butler won’t regret his decision, this team and culture were tailor-made to fit him and his demeanor.
