Point guards galore: Jeremiah Martin, Mychal Mulder and Jarrett Jack

Jeremiah Martin and Mychal Mulder are also impressing for the Force, two players that spent training camp with the Heat. Martin is averaging 19.5 points, 5.5 assists and three rebounds per game, as well as an impressive 1.7 steals per game. While Martin has been impressive defensively, his 3-point shot is still a work-in-progress. Martin only averages 26.9 percent from deep on 3.5 attempts per game, a mark he will need to improve, standing at 6’2”.

Mulder meanwhile, averages 15.9 points and 4.6 rebounds, along with .7 steals and .4 blocks. Mulder has been by far and away the most efficient 3-point shooter for the Force. Mulder shoots a ridiculously efficient 40.3% from deep on 9.3 attempts per game, with 3.7 of those attempts being makes. 3.7 makes from downtown means that Mulder is averaging nearly 12 points a game on 3-pointers alone. Once Mulder improves his driving abilities, he will transform into an NBA-level player, if he is not already considered one.

Lastly, the Force re-acquired NBA veteran Jarrett Jack after a handful of games. Jack, a 36-year-old with 14 NBA seasons under his belt, joins other NBA veterans who have utilized the G-League in an attempt to make an NBA comeback, such as center Spencer Hawes and forward Hasheem Thabeet. Jack played in one game for the Skyforce last season, posting 21 points, and has played in four games this season, with averages of 15 points and 4.6 assists, as well as 23 points and 28 points in his last two games.
