Jae Crowder- A++

The man of the hour last night was Jae Crowder. Of course, he did the Jae Crowder thing where he fights for every undecided play, dives on the floor for every loose ball, and got into all of the ruckus situations that he could have. However, he also turned it up offensively for his Miami Heat debut.

At one point, it seemed as though every time the Miami Heat needed a big shot, Crowder came up with it. Get this though, these shots were of the three-point variety. We know he is a really good three and D guy, but who thought he could get it going like that?

Crowder went 5-8 from deep on 6-11 shooting total, for 18 points, 11 boards, and three dimes just to boot. He played 35 minutes total in his debut, which tied Bam Adebayo for the second most amount of minutes played, which only fell behind Duncan Robinson‘s 38.

Jae Crowder earned an extra “+” for his performance last night and we hope he can mimic it on Monday against the Warriors. While we knew what the Heat did at the deadline would be great pickups for this team, they may end up being better than we expected.

We knew Jae Crowder could hit open shots, but not at that clip. Needless to say, things will get just that much more interesting once the Heat are back fully healthy.

Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, and Meyers Leonard, you all hurry up and get back now. Things are about to get even more fun.
