The Miami Heat and the NBA are still unfortunately on a suspension, but the stories, of course, aren’t. Here are AUCH’s hottest stories from this past week.

The Miami Heat were chugging along throughout the season. They had taken their fair share of losses, but they had gotten their fair share of big-time wins as well.

They had beaten the Milwaukee Bucks twice, they had knocked off the Raptors, while they had also handled the Philadelphia 76ers a number of times this season prior to the play stoppage. They seemed as though they were well on their way towards crashing the playoff party.

Hopefully, we will get to see that all play out. What’s becoming apparent though in this suspension is that the people are starting to pay attention to our favorite basketball team from Miami.

It has shone through in the content that has been put out there in the wake of the suspension, such as a piece written here on the comments made by ESPN‘s Stephen A. Smith about Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler. In any event though, just like those are some of the hottest stories around the entire league, here are a few of AUCH’s hottest Miami Heat stories from this past week.

Jimmy Butler’s Very Real Michael Jordan Complex

The Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler is a very cerebral guy. Behind the rock-solid gaze of those daunting and sometimes, menacing eyes, is the mind of a savant when it comes to knowing how much of anything it will take to get a certain job done. This goes double when thinking about his own motivation.

That is where the Michael Jordan Complex comes into play. It is a well-known fact that His Airness used to make up things to be mad about, as a way to motivate himself to dominate the competition and his opponents. Jimmy Butler sort of has that same thing about him.

Another Look At Pat Riley’s Dwyane Wade Better Than Kobe Take

Miami Heat team president Pat Riley may have bitten off more than he could chew in essentially saying that prime Dwyane Wade was better than Kobe Bryant, but what was he supposed to say? Dwyane Wade is like family to him and you would expect him to say nothing less.

With that in mind though and with the understanding that a case can possibly be made there, although it is a steep uphill climb, there is a parallel to make. At his best, one of them was early Michael Jordan and at the other’s best, he was later Michael Jordan. Two different forms and embodiments of greatness, but nevertheless, the same greatness.

NBA Draft Prospect Tyrese Haliburton A Great Fit

With the NCAA tournament being canceled, it sped the process up a bit for players looking to turn pro, while also yucking up the process a little bit. One guy that found himself on the side of things where he felt it was best to turn pro though is a huge point guard prospect from Iowa State named Tyrese Haliburton.

Not only would Haliburton be a great fit for the Miami Heat as far as what he does best overall, what he already does at a pro-level, and based on the way he goes about playing the game, but they are probably the best equipped at the moment to give him a valuable immediate opportunity.

They would probably be the most equipped because they can highlight his strengths while being able to mask his flaws. That is the gist of the reason why Haliburton is a hand in glove fit for the Miami Heat.
