The Miami Heat have hosted quite the cast of characters across their existence in the NBA. Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade were certainly no exceptions.
When you think of the home of the Miami Heat, the sunny shores of South Beach, what are some of the things you think of? Luxury homes, fine dining, tourists, vacationers, muscles, and bikinis.
You perhaps even think about the occasional luxury car of the Porsche or Ferrari variety, perhaps even a Lamborghini or two. When you think about refreshments, some people may go to the mojito, the famous Miami Vice cocktail, a rum runner, or even something a little simpler, such as a daiquiri of any of multiple varying flavors.
A refreshment not often associated with the glitzy, glamorous, and dare I say uppity and lavish Miami lifestyle is good, old fashioned, American-made Budweiser. This is definitely not something typically associated with the Miami Heat, or at least not until now.
Former Miami Heat champions and greats Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh have obviously taken part in one of the adult beverages’ latest national ad campaigns. They are joined by Wade’s wife, actress Gabriell Union, professional basketball player and NBA analyst Candace Parker, and World-Renowned DJ D-Nice. Here is the ad, from the official Twitter account of the Budweiser brand.
This is a reimagination of an older series of ads that took the world by storm. The originals from over a decade ago were simple, they were direct, but they were right on point. Here is one of the original television commercials from Budweiser that started it all.
This was a classic set of ads. They would be imitated and copied in movies, television shows, music, and in multiple other areas all throughout pop culture.
The Miami Heat have forever attached their brand to this popular ad and catchphrase combination. The zany characters of Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were just the guys for the job.
