Now, this might be controversial because as of now,  Jimmy Butler hasn’t done anything yet with Miami. However, I beg of you to look at Miami acquiring Butler differently.

After the Big 3 years were over in Miami, they tried to be contenders again by trading for Goran Dragic to go along with what they already had and a few high-level second-tier additions. That never quite panned out due to Chris Bosh having to retire with blood clot associated issues.

To make things worse, Dwyane Wade left to go to the Chicago Bulls, although yes, I think we all may have forgotten that actually happened. Miami had been an average team at best prior to this current season.

To go further into the abyss, Miami gave out a lot of head-scratching deals over the past couple of years and after missing out on the likes of Kevin Durant and/or Gordon Hayward in free agency, it was looking pretty bumpy as far as the franchises ability to acquire top-level talent.

It all changed last summer though when Miami acquired Mr. Bulter in a sign and trade from Philadelphia. Miami had no cap space either, so for this to all go down the way it did with those circumstances, you knew Bulter really wanted to be a member of the Miami Heat.

Acquiring Bulter put Miami back on the Map, it reinvigorated Miami’s credibility again, while simultaneously doing the same to their chances that stars will look at them as players once again in free agency or as a landing spot in a trade scenario. With Bulter in tow, Miami is back as a contender and outside of his impact and performance this season thus far, that is worth making this list.
