It’s no secret that the Miami Heat are going after Giannis Antetokounmpo come 2021. Is Tyler Herro starting their recruitment campaign early?

Another easy connection to make from Herro’s Instagram story is to Giannis Antetokounmpo, top target for Pat Riley and the Miami Heat’s 2021 free agency ploy.

Is the rookie shooting guard looking to catch the Greek Freak’s attention with his jersey choice?

The two will reportedly be within close quarters at NBA Orlando, per Shams Charania of the Athletic. He tweeted out the league’s hotel arrangements for Florida on Tuesday evening.

No one’s dismissing the fact that Miami and Milwaukee will share a hotel for however long their stay persists in Orlando. The Heat have been preparing for their pursuit of Antetokounmpo since Jimmy Butler agreed to the sign-and-trade that brought him to South Beach.

The 2018-2019 MVP has one year left on his deal with the Bucks, and every team in the NBA is waiting to see what becomes of the inevitable maximum extension offer he receives to stay in Milwaukee.  Is Herro just the latest recruitment tactic deployed by Riley and company?

Him showing love to not only a Heat, but also a Bucks legend, is surely a good way to get started building a bridge with Antetokounmpo. If not, could the whole thing just be a joke?
