The Miami Heat have made some tough decisions in recent years, moving guys to work other deals. I believe 1 of the 3 mentioned here will be back though, at least.

The Miami Heat have had to make some tough decisions in recent years when it comes to the players that they have on their rosters. Having to move guys in order to get other deals done, although it was hard in most cases, it had to be done.

Hassan Whiteside had begun to secrete a certain level of toxicity before he left, thus making it a bit easier to relinquish his rights to the Portland Trail Blazers. You also have to take into account, that it was that deal that helped the Miami Heat land not only Jimmy Butler but their stretch five as well in Meyers Leonard.

When thinking about the Jimmy Butler deal, this was also the one that saw Josh Richardson traded to the 76ers. A fan favorite, without a doubt, Richardson is missed by fans but was shown how valuable he was as a player and to the organization in that he was the key piece in order to complete the deal for Jimmy Butler.

When looking at other moves that have impacted this season as great as the Jimmy Butler deal did, you then take a peep at the deal with the Memphis Grizzlies. Sending Justise Winslow to Memphis, the Miami Heat received Solomon Hill, Andre Iguodala, and Jae Crowder in exchange.

While it was indeed tough to see Better go, it had to be done in order to give the Miami Heat their best chance at contention. He wasn’t playing and not only could they have used the body, but the talk and chatter that surrounded his relationship with the Miami Heat weren’t making things any better.

The Miami Heat have had to move some good pieces to become a better team. At least one of the pieces will fall back into place though, count on it.

Fast forward a few months from it all, with “it all” in reference to the last of the three moves, and here we are. We are mere weeks away from a potential NBA restart after the season was suspended due to coronavirus. While there will be games to talk about soon enough, unless Kyrie Irving has anything to say about, let’s also look a bit further into the future.

When thinking about everything in a vacuum and looking at all the details carefully, I would dare to say that at least one of these guys will be back. My guess, Josh Richardson is the guy. He seems to miss it all if you ask me.

With Richardson having one more solid year on his deal after this season is over, then a player option for the 2021-22 season, I firmly believe he will want to come back to Miami. The Miami Heat are the team that found him, developed him, gave him a shot to become the NBA player that he is, and ultimately rewarded him for his hard work before shipping them off in order for the team to become exponentially better.

The former pre-med major is a smart dude, he should realize that it wasn’t a knock on him as much as it was actually complimentary. Yes, they did move him, but they had to move him because he was one of their most valued pieces as an elite two-way wing.

dark. Next. Is Shaq the most physically dominant player ever?

When it’s all said and done, I believe J Rich will be back in Miami. It just seems right. So that’s why I believe that one of these three players will be back in South Beach and Josh Richardson is that guy.
