The Miami Heat will face the Indiana Pacers in round 1 of the NBA playoffs. NBA analyst Charles Barkley has a take on it, although not an accurate one.

The Miami Heat are off until Tuesday. It is then that they will take on the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

Having played the Pacers quite a few times this season, twice in the last week or so, the Miami Heat should be very familiar with this Indiana Pacers team. Throw in the fact that they have always had a somewhat lively rivalry and you have yourself set up for an awesome series to come.

To double down on that, you also have this season’s earlier incident between Jimmy Butler and T.J. Warren as your background. That is just the cherry on top that we need to make this playoff series a delectable one.

We aren’t all just sitting around waiting for the series to start though. Some of us have quite a few opinions on the pending playoff series.

The only issue though is this. All of these opinions are not accurate.

Take this one in example, that of All-Time great, NBA Hall of Famer, and award-winning NBA analyst Charles Barkley. Here is what he said.

The Miami Heat will face the Indiana Pacers to open the postseason. Charles Barkley might not know that though, based on this take.

First off, the Miami Heat have been one of the better teams in basketball all year and one of the absolute best in the Eastern Conference. Perhaps they don’t “scare anybody”, but I bet no one would step up to say that they “want to play the Miami Heat in the playoffs” either.

Secondly, where does he get off questioning Jimmy’s ability to control his emotions? He does it all the time. Pissed off isn’t an “emotion” for Jimmy, its how he is.

The approach that Chuck is referring to here isn’t just a momentary thing for Jimmy, as in a mood swing, it’s literally the way he is all the time. I would go as so far as to say that being that way all the time is him “controlling” his emotions as he makes himself that way to get the best out of himself on the court.

If he is saying that Jimmy needs to “remain calm” or “keep his cool”, I have zero doubts about that. That has never been an issue with Jimmy where it mattered and in the game against Indy where he did get out of hand, the result was already settled by that time and Jimmy knew it.

Lastly and to tie a bow around it all, does he even watch the games? If he did, he would know that these two teams and these two guys saw each other within the last seven days. There was no static to mention, other than the Miami Heat completely destroying the legend that was T.J. Warren in the NBA bubble.

Next. What the present says about the future of this team. dark

So, again, does Chuck even watch the games, or is he sleep the entire time as we’ve seen him doze off into on live television? Is he in the green room having a snack or arguing with Shaq somewhere when the actual games are on?

Based on this take and “analysis”, we can’t tell. That’s why we just had to know.
