The Miami Heat are off until further notice, as the games will restart. Former Heat champ LeBron James is really in the thick of it all though.

Thursday morning though, there were new reports, of course. Here is the one that really caught our eye, per the Twitter account of Yahoo Sports NBA insider, Chris Haynes.

Here is the thing.

We know how LeBron feels about it all, as he has not only said it aloud with his words and thoughts on social media, but with his action. He has absolutely always and will continue, as I firmly believe, to put his money where his mouth is.

That same thing applies to his time, his presence, his platforms, and his efforts. He finds himself in an interesting place here though, a paradox of sorts.

While he fully understands the magnitude of all of this and what his efforts can and does mean towards the movement, he also understands what another title does for all of his combined legacy and dealings right now.

What do we mean?

With the Lakers in a prime spot to challenge for a title and if they can find a way to win it, imagine what that type of momentum does for his career, his legacy, his future business dealings (merchandise, ventures, cooperations, etc.), future projects (movies, music, intellectual property), everything, and anything else associated with the brand and business that is LeBron James?

Let’s also not forget it’s the Los Angeles Lakers. Name another megastar, inside and outside of the NBA and game of basketball, who was title type successful in Tinsel Town and didn’t go on to forever be apart of history, lore, and the happenings of culture?

You can’t. LeBron James is fully aware of these facts as well.

Also, in the season that is the same season as the untimely demise of another one of the game’s and Laker’s All-Time greats in Kobe Bryant, what better story and lore builder than a LeBron James led Lakers title in that same season? There isn’t one and the moonlighting content creator that is LeBron James knows it.

Here’s the thing with Jimmy Butler and the Milwaukee Bucks. dark. Next

Again, LeBron James is fully on and about the right side of things here. He also knows what this season, another title, and a shot like this one in particular means for his complete and total legacy.

That, my friends, is the mercurial case of Lebron James among the current NBA restart and postseason strike.
