Jimmy Butler had his fingerprints all over the Miami Heat’s win in Game 4.

When you turn on the TV on Thursday morning, and likely every morning ahead of Miami and Boston’s Game 5 on Friday night, the talk of the town will be Tyler Herro. Rightfully so.

But don’t think for a second that Jimmy Butler wasn’t a driving force behind the Heat turning things around from a poor Game 3 and closing out a tight Game 4 contest.

He is Miami’s best player, a borderline superstar, and thus can often be glanced over for doing the things we are so accustomed to seeing him do on a nightly basis. Butler finished Game 4 on Wednesday with 24 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and a steal and block each.

It was his defense in the fourth quarter that helped to keep the Celtics offense at bay, and his free throws that in the end won this game for the Heat. Butler caught some flack for a less than inspiring Game 3 when Miami lost, so let’s not overlook his successes in their Game 4 win.

The Miami Heat will look to build off of this win and close out this Eastern Conference Finals over the Boston Celtics in Game 5. A win on Friday would punch their ticket to the 2020 NBA Final. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 pm EST, and coverage will be provided by ESPN.
