Duncan Robinson specializes in shots from 30 feet. He now needs to focus on those between 0-3 feet.

Finishing at the rim

All of his improvements go hand in hand. After he continues to work on his ball-handling, the escape move and the one-dribble pull-up should come, but after he gets that down, his counter needs to be going all the way to the cup.

He showed a little of this in a very limited capacity throughout the bubble, so he is capable of finishing at the rim. Heck, he even showed a few crafty finishes, where he had to go by, around, or above the defender at the rim.

The point is that he is capable. If he adds just a few more off the bounce moves, finishes at the cup, and in addition to a bit more strength to do it through contact, he is on his way to possibly even becoming a star.

Yes, that’s a long way for him to go, but who would have thought he would be what he is now after going undrafted? Exactly, not a ton of us.

Next. Only two proper plans for the 20th draft pick. dark

The Miami Heat have work to do in order to get back to the NBA Finals. I am sure they are aware and ready to do it though.

Having Duncan Robinson make these improvements would go a long way towards accomplishing that mission.
