The Miami Heat find talent anywhere. Are they looking towards the West Coast for their next great find?

I tend to share the sentiments of most of the guys previously. I don’t think that the Miami Heat will actually use the pick to draft a rookie.

Although they need help in certain areas, I believe they would be better served to add veterans off of the free-agent market than to potentially draft a guy. Also, that pick has a ton of value as far as potentially being a piece in negotiations.

That’s where I want it to go. If I had to choose a guy though at 20, I could.

My pick would be Malachi Flynn out of San Diego State. Flynn is a smooth guard who can score at all three levels.

He has the ability to run a team it seems, while he can also go and get his own. What really does it for me with Flynn is his ability to knock down a jump shot.

While that is good in itself, you also like the confidence and swagger with which he plays. San Diego State isn’t typically where your top-tier guys come from, but they did produce Kawhi Leonard, which tells you that they know what to do with top-tier talent that hasn’t been recognized as such yet.

We are all in wait and see mode, truly. The Miami Heat could shock us all and do something totally different.

With their love of Kentucky Wildcat guys, we all assumed that it might be another last season. The thing is this though, we all thought it would be P.J. Washington if they took one.

They took Tyler Herro though and it has all worked out in the best possible way since. The selections made here have all been good choices, but we shall wait and see.

Next. Should we take this Giannis Antetokounmpo report seriously?. dark

The good thing is this though, we have a good chef picking the ingredients. In Pat Riley we trust!

This has been an All U Can Heat Roundtable on who we think the guy should be at 20 for Miami. We hope you enjoyed it!
