The Miami Heat look to bring a certain type of guy into the fold. When that guy has all that, the talent, and the physical imposition of Precious, it’s a steal.

Precious Achiuwa Already Has That Miami Heat Effort & Energy About Him

His energy is so infectious and it is exactly what the Heat need from him. It fits what the Heat culture raves about actually, that “Work Hard” mentality!

The tangible issue is that he won’t be considered enough offensively down in the paint, which I wholeheartedly disagree with. But even if that is the case, Miami has enough to flow through Jimmy, Goran, Herro, and Robinson that Precious can become that defensive pest that causes matchup nightmares.

With Bam at his side leading the way, there is no reason that his presence shouldn’t stand to disrupt a lot of in the paint attempts. At least that’s what I see from him, based on all we know.

He was a double-double machine with Memphis, averaging 15.8 points per game along with a dominant 10.8 rebounds in the American Athletic Conference. When Bam entered the league from Kentucky, most saw a versatile big that could stand his own, but that stance would eventually change with what his skillset has shown to be.

He proved the NBA wrong with a strong work ethic and simply, a passion to evolve his game. Now, All-Star Bam is the key example of what the modern NBA big or center should look like.

This is the best way to describe Bam’s evolution. He took a Giannis-like mindset, meaning that he saw and acted like any player of that caliber, his caliber, should progress and not ground themselves to defense only.

That’s just what he did. That’s where this duo can become the newest edition of the San Antonio Spurs’ Tim Duncan and David Robinson.
