The Miami Heat are out on James Harden, reportedly, but his latest escapade highlights the bad fit.

The Miami Heat were in the middle of the James Harden tradewinds. Right smack dab in the middle of it all.

Well, it’s been more like a hurricane or a tornado than anything else. The rumors have been strong.

So has the action and rhetoric from the main party involved here. From all we have heard over the past few days, James Harden doesn’t plan to make this whole thing easy for the Houston Rockets.

Then we have the latest situation. Just a short while after actually showing up to Rockets training camp, James Harden is now to stay away from the team again after possible exposure.

As if his social media exploits with rapper, Lil Baby, weren’t enough to get your attention, there is now supposedly footage or photos of him recently out at a crowded or somewhat crowded event. Either way, it had too many people to be within the confines of James Harden’s employer’s, the NBA’s, covid protocols.

So, as the rumors have started to leak out, we are hearing all the stories and potential stories about what happened. Then, there was this.

The Miami Heat were in the James Harden sweepstakes, but hopefully and thank the basketball gods, they aren’t anymore.

On Wednesday afternoon, James Harden spoke on the topic himself. To say everything and a little bit at the same time, he shouldn’t have.

As noted by Tim MacMahon, Harden did clear himself of being in the strip club, but he totally implicated himself as being outside of the NBA’s protocols by being in any kind of establishment with that type of activity going on. Simply put, that wasn’t smart.

That’s why he isn’t a fit for the Miami Heat. Regardless of whether it’s a lack of intelligence, a lack of discipline, a lack of care, something else, or all of it, that’s exactly why he isn’t a fit for Miami.

These aren’t the types of things that happen there and nor should we want them to start happening. When he isn’t happy, this is what happens.

In Miami, you may not always be happy, because their job isn’t to please you but to make you the best basketball player that you can be. I hope they figure this out soon, one way or another.

Could they please do me a favor though, please? Leave my Miami Heat out of it, would you?
