The Miami Heat are led by a guy in Erik Spoelstra that Jimmy Butler thinks most highly of.

The Miami Heat constantly over perform when they don’t have a ton of talent and they tend to win at the highest level when they have the necessary pieces. Those are signs of a great coach.

Though we didn’t need reaffirming on the fact, as we know how good Coach Erik Spoelstra is, it’s not the worst thing to hear it said again. Here’s what Jimmy Butler thinks of his coach.

Jimmy Thinks Coach Spoelstra Is Definitely A Hall Of Fame Coach

When talking about his head coach, Coach Spo, Jimmy Butler pratically gushes. Here is a quote on his leader on the sidelines.

"“I got so much respect and love for Coach Spoels. He is an incredible, phenomenal, all those words, great coach. Because he really, really believes in his players. He empowers us to do whatever we can and want to do on the floor as long as we’re playing hard and we’re playing together. He just wants us to win, man, and he works so hard. He’s always studying. He’s always in communication with all the coaches, with all the players, all the way down the line. He just always gives you this… and sometimes it’s not even a speech. It could be a look and it’s like, you know what? Man, I’m running through a wall for this guy. Man, Spoels. He’s obviously a Hall Of Fame coach, but every day, he just shows me something new.”"

The Miami Heat’s leader on the floor admires their leader on the sidelines a ton. That’s how it should be.

When your best players and your head coach are this in tune and on one accord with one another, you always have a chance. When you put a coach like Spo, with a player like Jimmy, and in an atmosphere like the Miami Heat organization, you should also always come away with something good.

Jimmy Butler gave everything he had in the NBA Finals last season and we do mean everything. While that was on the court, there is still so much more than that which goes into making the man we know as Jimmy Buckets and that was a ton in itself.

We hope that we have helped to shed a little bit more light on the guy. You can find more on some of these facts, quotes, and a bit more in a recent published interview by GQ Sports of GQ Magazine.
