Miami Heat trade targets: Zach LaVine

The Miami Heat have failed to land either of the guys that we would all label “impact” guys. That doesn’t meant that there aren’t one or two out there just laying in wait though.

The Chicago Bulls are an interesting team. With a rather young roster over there, it wouldn’t be a shock to see them interested to move a number of guys.

That could go from the often injured Otto Porter, to Thaddeus Young, and most hopefully for us, Zach LaVine. LaVine is already an offensive force with supreme athleticism.

Though you want a bit more effort from him defensively, defense is an effort thing and with his tools, the Miami Heat could turn him into an above average defender, at worst.

At best, he could become an elite defender with his skills, athleticism, and knowledge of the game. Heck, it may be the best time to pursue the guy, as reports say he is actually trying to play more defense on his own right now.

Also. Celebrating Alonzo Mourning, a Miami Heat Legend. light

That’s a great thing for a guy who has the reputation for not playing defense or even caring about it. Perhaps he hears his name in the trade winds and knows he needs to show some other stuff?

Either way, the Miami Heat should be making phone calls right now. We have a guy from Chicago on the roster, who just had his best game, and who would seamlessly fit into what they have going on right now.

Just saying. The Miami Heat, again, need a guy that can get it done off the bounce.

Not only can LaVine do that, but he can do it in a few ways. That’s why he’s a guy the Miami Heat should pursue.
