Miami Heat trade targets: P.J. Tucker

The Miami Heat didn’t land James Harden, but that doesn’t mean that their pursuit to pilfer Houston should be over. There are other talented guys on that roster that could help this Heat team if they are seeking to part with them.

The Miami Heat are always in the market for a guy with a certain set of skills. We aren’t talking the traditional ones.

That would be passing, dribbling, shooting, and other things we think of when thinking basketball. What we are talking about here though are those intangibles, the little things.

P.J. Tucker has literally made a career out of doing those things. He can also hit an open corner three point shot, which helps a ton.

The Miami Heat could always use more toughness and that’s exactly what you get with Tucker. He’s been wanting a new deal in Houston for some time now and it doesn’t look to be on the horizon.

With that, he’s a strong candidate to be moved at some point soon. We shall see, but the Miami Heat might want to get in on the wheeling and dealing for his services.

The Miami Heat aren’t awful, but why not try to improve your team? If it means anything, we have yet to see the team at full strength for a three game stretch or more this season.

That’s just the truth. Whether it be for regular injury, health and safety protocols, or something entirely different, we haven’t had the full regular roster together at once a ton at all yet this season.

That’s something that should help them get better too, consistent opportunities to properly develop or tune in that chemistry. Making a move for one fo the above mentioned guys won’t hurt though either.
