The Miami Heat’s latest addition might turn out to be the biggest yet.

The Miami Heat needed a big man in the worst way. Guess what?

They, now, certainly have one!

Dewayne Dedmon

Since he played his first minutes in a Miami Heat uniform, a few minutes at the tail-end of the Denver game during last week, you could see the impact that Dewayne Dedmon could have on the team. He challenged shots, provided a presence, secured huge rebounds, all in just his first short appearance, and albeit in a blowout of a game.

Here’s the kicker though! He’s only continued to do more of the same in all of his opportunities since.

In the Miami Heat’s two games since Sunday, against both Houston and Brooklyn, Dedmon has arguably been a top-3 most important player in each. He finished with a quiet 10 and 10 double-double in just 15 minutes against Brooklyn, while throwing in 12 points, six rebounds, and an assist across 19 minutes on Monday.

He has done those things that the Miami Heat have been missing all season. From securing boards, to second chance points, to easy baskets and looks, Dedmon has made things a lot easier for the Miami Heat.

You can’t deny it! He has been a major difference-maker for this team.

All three of these players have. Hopefully, they’ll continue to be that as the regular season and postseason progress.

Next. Jimmy Butler should be top candidate for DPOY, but he won’t be. dark

If they can continue to have this type of impact for the Miami Heat, then the sky is truly the limit. Another NBA Finals run is truly something that’s achievable.
