The Miami Heat need more offense from Bam Adebayo… plain and simple.

The Miami Heat know what they have on their hands, believe us. Here’s the thing though.

Sometimes, you question if whether Bam actually knows how good he is. This is a guy who can make guards, mobile forwards, and anyone else that attempts to guard him look silly.

This is all at his size and weight. Let’s not even talk about the many other physical advantages he could create for himself.

That leads here though.

Use your 1 on 1 moves in the game:

If you watch the linked video from above, then you can see what Adebayo can do in the game. He needs to be more selfish when it comes to his offensive game, as he has all the tools to do so and be great with it.

Conclusion:

Adebayo, as stated before, has all the tools to be a better player and that is a scary thought to think about, but it is true. Coach Spoelstra has to use him in more ways than just the dribble-handoff though to help facilitate that, as he did this past year.

He can still run Miami’s offense but still needs to be aggressive for himself. Finding a happy medium in that will take time, of course, but we need more than a flash in the pan from Adebayo in taking over one game.

He dropped 41 points against the Brooklyn Nets this past season and with a buzzer beating shot to top it off. Adebayo has that in him on a more regular basis but he just has to believe in himself more, because he can do it nightly.

I’m expecting a big summer from Bam.
