The Miami Heat brought in Moe Harkless to defend and hit an open shot. He didn’t see enough time to do either.

The following and first two guys on this list had really entangled seasons, so to speak. They both played for at least two teams during the year.

While one of them saw his best ball, realistically, played before joining Miami, the other saw his best ball played after leaving Miami. Either way, they both underperformed for the Heat.

Coming into the season, you though that Maurice Harkless would be a spark plug off the bench for the Miami Heat. With his unique combination of size and quickness, a defender capable of matching up 2-4 with size along the wing as well, you thought that though he wouldn’t see starter’s minutes, he would have a sizable impact in his role.

Those sentiments couldn’t have been further from the reality of the situation. After playing in just 11 games for Miami and through game 44 of the season, he was shipped off to Sacramento.

For what it’s worth, a popular phrase here, he did play a lot better with Sacramento. That, though, didn’t or doesn’t help the Miami Heat and that’s how he made the list.
