Chris Bosh could help Bam Adebayo extend his jump shot from the mid-range to three-point range. The Miami Heat connection is too obvious to overlook.
Chris Bosh played a huge part in bringing the Miami Heat three championships in the early 2010s. This connection makes too much sense not to happen.
Though the two never played together, Bosh played with the Miami Heat through the 2015-16 season. Adebayo could learn a lot from the two-time champion.
Before his time with the Miami Heat, Bosh was a five-time All-Star with the Toronto Raptors. He was a double-double machine who played close to 40 minutes per game.
His energy on both sides of the floor is something he could easily pass down to Adebayo. Bosh could also help Adebayo learn the importance of playing a role to perfection.
Though he was the primary option in Toronto, he also spent time as the tertiary option with the Heat. Adebayo could learn to adapt to any situation he’s put in and still produce All-Star caliber numbers.
Later on in his career, Bosh even developed a three-point jump shot. In his last two seasons, he shot over 36% from deep on around four attempts per game.
Adebayo has shown the ability to make mid-range jump shots. If Bosh can help him extend his range to the three-point line just like he did towards the backend of his career, that would be huge.
