Miami Heat players who will benefit from Kyle Lowry: Duncan Robinson

Duncan Robinson could benefit from having Kyle Lowry on the team more than anyone else. He should get more three-point opportunities than ever before.

The main way Robinson gets his buckets is off of catch-and-shoot chances. Lowry will be able to create more of these for him than he’s ever gotten thus far in his career.

In order to generate these chances, Robinson needs a great passer to get him the ball. He had Butler to do this last season, and now he’ll have Lowry as well.

Lowry is great at creating scoring opportunities for others. With Robinson constantly roaming around the perimeter, he’ll have another person to pass to.

Robinson will likely be the best three-point shooter Lowry has ever played with. Getting him the ball in even the tightest of windows could lead to an easy bucket from range.

In addition to his elite playmaking, Lowry will cause defenders to move away from Robinson, too. He’s a great three-point shooter in his own right, so he’ll draw some defenders on the perimeter.

Last season, Robinson was the only huge three-point threat, meaning defenders could focus on him. With Lowry on the outside, Robinson should have more room to work.

Watching them work should be a ton of fun for Miami Heat fans. As good as Miami will be on defense, they should be a solid offensive team, too, with Lowry at the helm.
