Miami Heat trades to improve their Finals chances

This trade would not only improve Miami’s Finals odds, but it might just make them Finals favorites. Adding Collin Sexton would give them four All-Star caliber players.

Sexton rumors have simmered down in recent weeks, but the Cavs reportedly felt very strongly about trading him just a few weeks ago. It’s highly unlikely that they completely changed their mind since then.

The Miami Heat were one of the top teams linked to Sexton when the rumors were at their peak. They could still easily pull off a trade to land the young star.

He would be able to start at shooting guard alongside Kyle Lowry. Past that, the Heat would have to decide whether to start Duncan Robinson or PJ Tucker.

Regardless, if the team has an opportunity to add another potential All-Star, they should jump at it. Sexton had an amazing year last year, and would only help Miami’s chances.

The best part about a trade like this is that it would help the Heat right now and moving forward. Sexton is still only 22 years old.

He could help the Miami Heat compete for a title next year, and would still be able to grow into the future with Bam Adebayo. The Heat would be working with two separate, very talented timelines.

While the move may seem unlikely, it’s not out of the realm of possibilities. Sexton would be the perfect addition to this Miami Heat team.
