Why both the Miami Heat and Dennis Schroder would benefit from the deal

He is in desperate need of a season to prove what he is worth. When players need to revitalize their careers, the Miami Heat are always the team to go to.

Both sides could mutually benefit from a Schroder signing. The Miami Heat get a backup point guard who can attack the basket and score the ball, while Schroeder gets a chance to show teams that he can perform at a high level on a competitive team.

Dennis Schroder could be a good scorer for the Heat as a part of their second unit. During the 2019-20 NBA season, Schroder averaged nearly 19 points per game as the sixth man on the Oklahoma City Thunder. He should be able to bring enough offense to make him a great option for Miami.

Schroder could help the Heat as they plan to make another run to the NBA Finals. However, in order to prove himself, he needs to put his ego aside and be comfortable with producing off the bench.
