Miami Heat: Should Have Been Fined For Tampering – Wade Back From Cleveland

While they may be penalized here for this incident, it doesn’t appear that it will result in anything major. Remembering the sour grapes of Bucks fans from earlier, a similar circumstance or close enough, wound up costing them Bogdan Bogdanovic on last season.

That isn’t to be the case here, according to Winderman. Though it won’t cost them the guy, it will cost them something.

They will be penalized here, but they haven’t always been pinged for their actions either… or what might have looked liked something questionable. Here are three scenarios where they could or should have been fined for tampering… but weren’t.

Getting Dwayne Wade Back From Cleveland

Though there is no indication that anything illegal took place here, by NBA standards, get real! If people don’t think that there was a conversation had betwixt Dwyane Wade, Pat Riley, and/or other Miami Heat brass about the scenario, how happy he was where he was, and coming back… then, well, there’s nothing left to say.

Again, there was nothing explicitly illegal about it all, per NBA rules, you just know there was some back channel communication occurring. That’s how this one made the list.
