Buy-low trade targets for the Miami Heat: Justin Holiday/TJ McConnell

The Indiana Pacers are in a very weird place as an organization. They have a solid roster and a great coach, but they aren’t necessarily a championship contender.

If they underperform at the start of the season, the Miami Heat should definitely look to make a deal. They have a ton of solid players on their roster who could help the Heat.

Indiana could look to sell some of the bigger pieces on their team, but the Miami Heat would struggle to match salary there. Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis just make too much money.

However, there are still some solid players available that Miami could target. The two that stick out the most are TJ McConnell and Justin Holiday.

McConnell would be able to provide the Heat with great backup point guard minutes. He’s a solid defender who is also an elite playmaker.

He was one of the best passers off the bench last season, and also led the league in steals. He would fit in super well off the bench.

As for Holiday, he would be a great fit to help add wing depth. He’s a solid defender, but the real draw would be his three-point shooting.

Having another great shooter off the bench would be a great help to the Heat. Holiday would be able to provide that.
