Miami Heat players who could make the All-Star game: Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler is the best player on the Miami Heat. He is their closer, their superstar player, and the current face of the franchise.

Just a couple of years ago, Butler was able to lead the Miami Heat to the NBA Finals against all odds. He’s just that good of a basketball player.

Despite all this, Butler was snubbed from the All-Star game last year just like Adebayo was. The likely reason behind it was that the Heat got off to a slow start last year.

However, all signs are pointing towards a bounce-back year for both the Heat and Jimmy Butler. Alongside Lowry and Adebayo, Butler should be able to lead them to a top seed in the Eastern Conference.

He’s another one of those players who doesn’t need to put up elite stats for his impact to be noticed. He does all the little things on the floor to help his team win, and if he needs to, he can still step up and be the bucket-getter if need be.

Though Lowry will probably take on a bunch of the ball-handling duties this year, Butler will still have a big part in controlling the offense. His feel for the game alone makes him a very special player.

There’s no reason Butler shouldn’t be an All-Star this year. As long as he is healthy and the Miami Heat are a top team, he’ll be playing in that game.
