Miami Heat: 3 Biggest Wins Of Their Offseason – Signing Kyle Lowry

This next one is pretty obvious. It was a done deal, it seems, before it was a done deal and that helps illustrate the magnitude and importance of the get.

Signing Kyle Lowry

The Miami Heat needed a three-level scorer in the worst way. They also could stand to add a point guard as the offseason approached, with Jimmy Butler having to do way too much coming down the stretch for the Miami Heat last season.

Though that was something that should have been evident after the NBA Bubblebetter late than never is the way the old adage goes. With that in mind though, the Miami Heat now, not only, have that other scorer in Kyle Lowry, but that solidified third guy, and a three level guy, as mentioned, someone capable of scoring at the bucket, from range, and in the middle.

With him, that should help to quell those moments in the game where the Miami Heat just can’t seem to buy a bucket. While it can manifest itself in many ways, it most often looks like this for the Heat.

There will be a 15-2 run and the Miami Heat will be on the wrong side of it. Then there is those times where they need a bucket to help stop that run, perhaps to slow the momentum of a comeback, or to close out a game… and they can’t hit the broadside of a barn.

Kyle Lowry, in himself, will go a long way towards answering those questions. At the very least, he’ll be another option that allows the rest of the options to see their percentage chances of converting in those moments go up.
