Miami Heat players who could have a breakout season: Bam Adebayo

Bam Adebayo has the chance to go from an All-Star caliber player to an All-NBA caliber player this season. With the talent he has around him, he could put up career-high numbers.

So far throughout his career, Adebayo has been fairly passive on the offensive end. Outside of a couple of big moments, he usually decides to defer to other players.

Well, if he can be more aggressive this year, he could legitimately lead the team in points. Everyone knows he is a talented offensive player, he just has to unleash the beast.

With Kyle Lowry and Jimmy Butler alongside him, Adebayo will be playing for the best team he’s ever played for. Both of them are elite playmakers who will make Adebayo’s life infinitely easier.

Both Lowry and Butler will be able to find Adebayo easy looks at the basket. All he has to do is be assertive and take the shots when he gets the chance.

In addition, having Lowry and PJ Tucker in the starting lineup will space the floor for Adebayo. He’ll be able to get more open paint touches than ever before this season.

If he can embrace a new offensive role, this could be Adebayo’s best season yet in the NBA. Hopefully, Erik Spoelstra sees his potential on offense and takes advantage of it to the fullest extent.
