Players who would thrive in Miami Heat Culture: Marcus Smart

Marcus Smart is the type of player who plays with his heart on his sleeve at all times. He works harder than anyone else and is one of the toughest defenders in the NBA.

He is the type of player that Heat fans would fall in love with if he ever joined the team. The way he carries himself fits in perfectly with Heat Culture and the way Miami plays basketball.

His defense is by far his best trait, and that’s a huge reason why he would fit in so well with the Heat. They prioritize defense over everything, and that certainly describes Smart to a tee.

Ever since he entered the league, he has been willing to do anything, stand up to anyone, and dive anywhere to get a win. It’s why he has endeared himself to Boston Celtics fans so much.

For those same reasons, he would be the perfect member of the Miami Heat. Everything Smart stands for is what Heat Culture is all about.

Smart plays with intensity, tenacity, and ferocity at all times. Despite his occasional shooting struggles, he has become one of the most valued players on the Celtics.

He just got paid a little under $20 million dollars a year because he does all the little things. Smart is the type of player who screams Heat Culture.
