Miami Heat: Chris Bosh Chose Team Success En Route To Hall Of Fame
Because he chose to take a minimized role with two other great all-timers on his team, that just emphasizes that he was not only a great player, but a great guy and teammate. If he had been by himself more during his career or just with one other guy, then he likely would have some of the super eye-popping numbers that draw a ton of folks in.
He showed how good he could be during his time as the lone guy with the Heat, after the Big 3 Era, which was unfortunately cut short due to the blood clotting scenario. Even still though, he finished with career averages of 19.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, two assists, 0.8 steals, and a block.
He would also collect a career range shooting percentage of 33.5 percent on one attempt per game, though much better during his later years, peaking at 37.5 percent on nearly four attempts in 2014-15 and 36.5 percent on just over four attempts in 2015-16.
Basically, he was a good range shooter as well. The man was good at everything, to be frank.
He’s also a champion and that’s what makes him a legend, because he passes all the tests. He has the numbers and especially at his peaks, he has the accolades and titles, and he passes the eye-test.
Well, that and the fact that he’s headed to the Basketball Hall Of Fame. This was of a reminder of why that’s to be.
