It’s always fun to take a look back at Miami Heat history. One of the most interesting aspects of the game to look at is trade history with certain teams.

By investigating certain deals made in the past, it’s usually easy to tell which team came out on top. As they say, hindsight truly is 20/20, especially when it comes to trades.

Well, in the first two instances of looking at trade histories, Miami’s trade history with the Kings and Mavericks was taken a look at. In both instances, there was a trade that the Heat emphatically won.

The best trade the Miami Heat made with the Kings was a deal that saw them acquire Bimbo Coles. He was a very productive member of the Heat, and they didn’t have to give up too much for him.

As for their trade history with the Mavs, it was also easy to find a trade that Miami won, too. They managed to trade for Jamal Mashburn, who helped lead the Heat to the playoffs in every season he played in the city.

Over the years, the Heat have made five trades with the Sacramento Kings and four trades with the Dallas Mavericks. However, they haven’t made as many deals with every single team in the NBA.

When writing these articles, the way that teams are chosen is byways of a randomizer wheel. It just so happened that the first two teams the wheel chose had done a lot of trades with the Miami Heat.

Well, that was not the case this time around. This time, the wheel landed on the New York Knicks, and upon further investigation, the two teams have only completed one deal throughout the years.
