Things Miami Heat fans should watch for this season: Depth production

The Big 3 in Miami is one of the best in the league. They have a lot of great pieces surrounding them, but they need certain players to step up if they want to reach their full potential.

Players such as Markieff Morris, Max Strus, and Gabe Vincent won’t play huge roles, but they will need to produce. In order for the Miami Heat to have zero holes, players such as these three need to be at the top of their game.

According to reports earlier this offseason, the Heat plan on making Vincent their full-time backup point guard. Strus and Morris will likely have similar roles on the team at their own positions.

They don’t have to do much, but they need to step up when their number is called. Fans should watch Miami’s depth pieces closely this year.

Things Miami Heat fans should watch for this season: Development of Tyler Herro

Tyler Herro was thrown around in trade rumors almost weekly this offseason. As of now, though, he remains on the Miami Heat roster.

The young guard should have a big role in the team’s offense this year. With the way things are shaping up, he should be the team’s go-to sixth man.

He played poorly in the playoffs last season, so the team will likely be expecting more from him. If he can take another jump as a player, the ceiling of this team would definitely get higher.

As a fan, keep an eye out for any improvements Herro may have made. His role should be bigger than ever, so hopefully, he can live up to the expectations.
