Finally, we have the first switch-up of this re-draft. Unfortunately for Miami Heat fans, they lose out on Tyler Herro, as the Cleveland Cavaliers pick him up at fifth overall.
Darius Garland was a great pick, but taking Herro makes a bit more sense for the Cavs. This would allow Collin Sexton to run point guard, while Herro takes over duties at the two.
Herro had some struggles last season, but he showed how good he can really be during the Miami Heat 2020 Finals run. He has star potential, and the Cavs need as much of that as possible.
He would be a starter in Cleveland, providing them with another scorer alongside Sexton. That was an area they really struggled in last season.
Cleveland fans might be upset that they lose the famous “Sexland” backcourt, but this fit seems a bit better. In the first change of the re-draft, Herro jumps up eight spots to the Cavaliers at five.
