It’s a shame that Darius Garland won’t get a starting job, but the Chicago Bulls take the best available player here. Garland drops down a couple of spots, but he would be an elite sixth man in Chicago.

The Bulls originally selected Coby White with this pick, who has actually played pretty well for them so far. However, from what Garland has shown, he’s simply the better prospect right now.

Lonzo Ball would clearly be the starter, but Chicago would have a great point guard off the bench in Garland. His efficiency shooting and great playmaking abilities would help him shine with the Bulls, just as he has in Cleveland.

He may not put up as many points or assists due to the fact that he won’t be starting, but he would still be just as effective in Chicago. As mentioned, Chicago would just be taking the best available player here.

Garland may be small, but he has already shown that he will be a great NBA point guard one day. The Bulls still take a point guard in this re-draft, but this time, they go with Garland at pick seven.
