Miami Heat: Gabe Vincent Might Be Primary Backup PG-Capable For A While

The second reason is the main reason here today though. Gabe Vincent and fresh off of Olympic play for his nation of Nigeria, might have shown you enough to believe that he should capable of the backup point guard duties for the moment.

Thinking back to the very beginning of Gabe’s time in Miami, he hasn’t really shot the ball that well.

Coming to the team as a shooter, it’s that ability that got him there and obviously still has the confidence of Heat decision-makers, as they brought him back again this season.

While the trust in his shot is one thing, his improvement on defense last season probably also has a ton to do with it.

Now, famously known for taking on the tutelage of one of the NBA’s defensive specialist over his tenure in the league, Avery Bradley, Vincent looked to improve on that side and literally, got it done.
