Miami Heat: Bam Adebayo’s Success Has Lot To Do With Rim-Proximity

Some could say that it’s the defense. Some might say that it’s a coming together or conglomeration of all of their talent hitting a stride early.

Some might say that this has been something building for a few years, just needing a Kyle Lowry-type to compete the concoction. All of that may be true.

To be fair though, no thing or factor is bigger than another, however, based on where he has come from, what has been asked of him before this season, and where he seems to be now, Bam Adebayo‘s play has been one of the biggest factors in their success so far.

It’s just the truth.

While a new mentality and a return to physical form might have a ton to do with his dominance thus far, averaging a career high 20.8 points and 13.8 total rebounds per contest, it’s really a lot simpler than that.

When you look at where he’s playing from, the areas that he occupies on the floor now or his sheer proximity to the rim now, it actually makes a ton of sense as to why his numbers are up.
