The Miami Heat need their floor-spacing. That means that they need this next guy to return to the peak of his powers.

Duncan Robinson was struggling, until just recently. This year he has had severe shooting troubles that many fans and analysts are, absolutely, confused by.

Normally, he is an elite threat from three. In 2019-2020, he shot 45 percent, while it was 41 percent in 2020-2021.

Both years, he had an effective field goal percentage in the top of the league. This year, however, he is only shooting at about 34 percent, just below the league average.

We thought that he was just off to a bad start, perhaps, dealing with something that would work itself out. Now, about a third of the way through the season, it’s clear that something was majorly wrong.

There is some speculation as to why, but none have proven to be conclusive. What has happened to the Miami Heat’s sharpshooter?
