With quite a few having the belief that they may still be a guard or so short, at the moment, Gabe Vincent has shown that he can step up and be that backup point guard you need him to be.

That includes the desire to bring in a John Wall type or any guard depth with the open roster spot or on the buyout market.

He has also shown you why he was brought here in the first place.

Coming to Miami with a reputation as a shooter, that didn’t quite materialize before this season. He did, however, become a defensive ace, somewhat, across last season.

This season though, he has found his offense again. It has not only helped to solidify the Miami Heat in their greatest time of need but solidify his role with the team as the backup guy at that guard spot.
