Ranking Miami Heat’s Christmas Wins: Two Of Most Talented Teams Ever
This matchup was so special and fun to watch live. I mean, talk about competitive, entertaining, and must-see tv.
1. 2012- Oklahoma City Thunder at Miami Heat
This was the 2012 NBA Finals rematch. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook vs LeBron James and Dwyane Wade was the marquee.
This game felt like it was straight out of the NBA Finals. Guys were being thrown around, fouled hard, and the superstars took turns getting buckets.
LeBron finished with 29 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists. Wade pitched in 21, while they even got 20 from Chalmers.
On the other side, Durant finished with 33 points, getting 25 of them in the second half. He did so by attacking LeBron through a variety of cuts and isolation plays.
As a basketball fan, you couldn’t do anything but appreciate the duel between the two. You have to always enjoy two of the best, ever, nailing jumpers in each other’s faces.
Ultimately, it came to an absolute dime from LeBron to Bosh to put them up three and from there on out, it came down to stops, which Miami was able to get. That would carry them to victory, 107-93.
With this matchup, you had a great narrative, being a finals rematch and then the play from both clubs living up to expectations. You just can’t beat games like that.
The jerseys were nice and vibrant as well. The blue and red came together nicely, adding to an all-around amazing game to experience.
This has to be the best Christmas Day game, but every Christmas Day game is special too, so that may differ from person to person. In fact, there is no wrong answer.
However, when the Heat win all of their Christmas games, you have a variety to choose from as a fan of that team. It had to be said.
With that, enjoy looking back at all your favorite Miami Heat Christmas memories and enjoy your day everyone. Happy Holidays!
