Miami Heat: How Many All-Star Selections Do They Deserve?

First and foremost, Jimmy Butler is the most obvious choice for a Miami Heat All-Star. The five-time All-Star has been spectacular in every way this season, contributing significantly to the scoring load and the defensive coordination.

Butler has been the best player, by far, for the Heat. As long as he has been on the floor, he has given Miami a chance to win every game they have played.

When they have won, his contribution was usually the biggest reason why. When they have lost, his absence is usually the biggest reason why.

Jimmy Butler is almost certainly a lock for an All-Star spot this year. In fact, he probably deserves a starting spot.

The only thing that would prevent him from earning a roster spot is if he is excluded based on games missed. He has already missed 15 games this season.

When he has been on the court though, there are few who deserve to be an All-Star more than Butler.
