Miami Heat Keep Two Hardship Guys Around, Kyle Guy And Chris Silva

While Morris’s situation is one thing, the more straightforward of the two is that of Marcus Garrett’s. He is simply still in the protocols.

On the surface, those are the biggest two reasons why Chris Silva and Kyle Guy will remain with the Miami Heat. Slightly below that initial and obvious reasoning though, there is more.

Simply put, what they’ve been able to do in their initial 10-day pacts has a ton to do with why they were the two, in particular, chosen to remain. Playing the best ball of his pro career, Kyle Guy proceeded to step on the floor of the big stage to, not only, answer questions but remind the people.

He has always been able to shoot it and score the ball. That’s what made him a top recruit coming into college at UVA.

He proceeded to put that ability on display in the big leagues with the Miami Heat, while also showing a few other things. He’s a more than capable defender at his position, while he does have the natural ability to make plays for others.

You’ll never confuse him for Kyle Lowry or Chris Paul, but he’s more than capable of slotting in as your point guard for a few minutes or so.

When it comes to Chris Silva, there is no explanation needed.
