Miami Heat: They Fail To Take Care Of Basketball In Marathon Raptors Defeat

This was not a good team to play against for these purposes, with their aforementioned prowess to take the ball away.  But that was the case on Saturday night and something that you never want to be as a team is careless with the basketball.

However, that is exactly what happened.

Basketball games are not lost by one player’s poor effort. However, there were definitely some key culprits in the turnover area.

Tyler Herro, who has been struggling recently, had five turnovers. Bam Adebayo also made several unforced errors, with six turnovers.

Once again, these players weren’t the sole reason for the Heat’s struggles. Basketball is a team effort and there is more everyone could have done to help the team.

Turning over the ball as much as Miami did makes it very difficult to win games though, regardless of who is responsible or how it happens.

Just as one player doesn’t lose a game, one player cannot win the game for his team on his own. But there are some players in the NBA who can get you really close.
