Miami Heat: Jordan Poole Might Be Tyler Herro Contract Prototype

To help along that process some, let’s consider an example, a structure, or a prototype, if you will, to use when thinking about what type of deal Tyler Herro should be looking at.

Jordan Poole, of the Golden State Warriors, who now comes off the bench as well, and is used in a similar way in Golden State, is the subject at hand.

On Wednesday, a report came out that Golden State wants to extend Poole on a four-year deal in the eighty million dollars range.

When the report was seen, Tyler Herro’s contract scenario automatically came to mind.

If you’re Miami, you’d have to be willing to sign up for that number right now. That would be a win-win for, both, Miami and Herro.

Herro at $80 million just seems right. That doesn’t mean that the Heat still wouldn’t have some quasi-tough choices to make in the coming offseason though.
