Miami Heat: Medicine And Motivation For An Interesting Back To Back

They now face two teams in their next two contests, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Minnesota Timberwolves, that they currently have a record of 0-3 against on the season.

What a setup for the a getback right? With the recent history, alone, between te Heat and these teams, along with the recent dismantling by the Suns, that applies in more ways than one.

The T-Wolves continue to surge in the Western Conference, so they seem more legit than normal.

Though the Cleveland Cavaliers aren’t as crisp as they have been throughout the year, slumping a bit while also losing Jarret Allen for some time, they have beaten Miami twice already and should still be treated with a high level of seriousness.

Now, Miami does have these games on their home floor, of which they have a ton of in their remaining 15 games (10 of 15 at home), but they also have that other thing. The Phoenix Suns gave them some medicine, referencing two popular clichés, “taking a dose of your own medicine” or “taking your medicine”.

Confused? Good, let’s talk about what that means here for the Miami Heat, in case it isn’t clear already.
